Mara Logística + TMS · Logistics and fleets
In productionEvery trip your fleet makes, from plan to settlement.
Mara runs your entire fleet operation and the TMS controls what happens on the road. One loop: what you plan, what happens on the road and what you invoice all match.
- Who it's for
- Transport and logistics companies, freight carriers and companies with their own fleet.
- Where it's used
- Used by Expreso Chapelco and the Chubut Provincial Legislature; being deployed at Otamendi & Cía.

The problem
What happens today
Routes are tracked by phone
Finding out where a truck is, or whether it's late, means calling the driver.
Planned and actual never meet
Deviations, stops and delays are discovered late, or never.
Settlements take days
Mileage, times and deliveries are rebuilt by hand to invoice and pay drivers.
Operations live in spreadsheets
Trips, delivery notes, expenses and settlements sit in separate spreadsheets that never quite match.
Renewals slip through
Inspections, insurance, services and driver's licenses are tracked from memory.
Invoicing is slow and error-prone
What was already entered for the trip gets typed again, and only afterwards do you find what doesn't match the client's records.
What Mara manages
Trips
Entered once, with driver, unit, rate, cost center, expenses and fuel, and everything else flows from there.
Trunk routes and rates
Routes with their mileage and default client, and rates per unit type.
Fleet
A full record for each unit, across several companies and branches.
Maintenance
Plans by mileage or by days (service, inspection, insurance), with a traffic-light status and early warnings.
Staff
A file for each driver with their documents and expiry alerts.
Driver pay
Hours, per diems and meals for each trip, with items preset per trunk route.
Expenses and fuel
Expenses with receipts, and fuel slips imported from the supplier's file.
Invoicing
Pre-invoicing of trips, a check against the client's file and electronic invoices with an ARCA authorization code (CAE).
Mara and the TMS on every trip
- Mara
Before the trip
Route, customer, tractor and trailer, drivers, departure and stops are planned. Mara sends the plan to the TMS.
- TMS
During the trip
From the moment the driver starts, the actual route, stops, idle time, deviations and deliveries are recorded. If something doesn't match the plan, it alerts.
- Mara
After the trip
Receives actual times, mileage and deliveries to invoice, settle and control fuel.
Features
What Mara + TMS does
Real-time tracking
A map with the whole fleet (position, speed and status), current leg, completed and pending stops, ETA and planned vs. actual route.
mara-control-tower · 1600×1000Driver app
Drivers see their trip and what to deliver at each stop, check in at start, arrivals and finish, complete the vehicle checklist and keep working offline. Every check-in is compared against GPS.
mara-driver-app · 900×1800Alerts that get resolved
The TMS detects 14 situations: stops outside a scheduled stop, missed or overstayed stops, route deviations, speeding, idling, units not reporting, late starts or arrivals, check-ins that don't match GPS and disabled drivers or units, among others. Alerts escalate if the problem persists, close on their own once it's solved, and every threshold can be tuned without coding. Every alert is resolved or justified, with a record of who did it.
mara-alerts · 1600×1000Control tower
A dispatch screen with map, units, alert inbox and trip details, filterable by company, business unit and status.
mara-control-tower · 1600×1000Routes drawn on the map
Dispatch marks the origin, waypoints and destination of each trunk route, and the routing engine calculates the path over the road network with mileage and estimated time. Stops are added with their radius and dwell time, and a trunk route can have alternatives: if a unit takes another one, the TMS reassigns it instead of flagging a deviation.
Invoicing without retyping
Draft invoices are generated from a period's uninvoiced trips, grouped by client. Before issuing them, Mara matches the Excel or PDF file the client sends against the trips and shows what's missing, what's extra and where amounts differ. Then it issues the invoice with an ARCA authorization code, emails the PDF and posts it to the accounting system.
Management data
Actual mileage per trip, unit and driver; fuel consumption against each unit's standard, with a traffic-light status; working and driving hours; stop compliance; daily fleet status; and invoicing by cost center and client. Everything exports to Excel.

Works with the GPS you already have
The TMS reads positions from your current GPS provider (for example, Microtrack) or from common device brands. In areas without cell coverage it can use the vehicle's satellite link (such as Starlink); on stretches without signal, positions are stored and recovered later.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to replace my GPS?
No. The TMS reads positions from your current provider, such as Microtrack, or from common device brands.
What if the driver has no signal?
The driver app works offline: it stores check-ins and syncs them when the connection returns.
Does it work on routes without cell coverage?
Yes. It can use the vehicle's satellite link, such as Starlink, and positions from stretches without signal are stored and recovered later.
Is it for in-house fleets or only for carriers?
Both: it's used by transport and freight companies and by organizations with their own fleet.
Does it issue electronic invoices?
Yes. Mara issues electronic invoices with an ARCA authorization code (CAE), emails the PDF and posts the document to the company's accounting system.
Do I have to load the routes?
Once per trunk route: you mark the waypoints and stops on the map, and the system calculates the path, mileage and estimated time. Trunk routes are maintained in Mara and sync to the TMS automatically.
How long does deployment take?
TODO: typical deployment time.
